- Fostering
Fostering is perhaps our greatest need. It involves keeping and caring for kitties in your home until adoption; transporting kitties to vet visits, supply days, PetSmart adoption events; and more. We need fosterers for cats of all ages. We also need specialty fosterers such as quarantine and medical fosterers. - PetSmart Adoptathon Counselors
Adoptathons are held every Saturday and Sunday at three area PetSmart Adoption Centers: Wake Forest, North Raleigh, and Six Forks. You will be the face of Purr Partners Feline Rescue by interacting with the public. Being flexible and friendly is definitely a plus! You will show cats to pre-approved adopters, discuss cats’ bios/personalities, health records, and explain our adoption process to potential applicants. Tasks also include setting up/taking down cages, refreshing food & water, and answering basic questions from potential adopters. Oh, and the cuddles and purrs are FREE! ♥ - Cat Cuddling and Adoption Center Maintenance
This involves cuddling the kitties and cleaning their condos at one of our three PetSmart Adoption Centers. This is a great way to get your “kitty fix”! - TNVR Team
Help our special Wandering Whiskers program by helping trap, neuter, vaccinate, and return (TNVR) feral cats in Franklin County. - Transportation
We are always in need of transporters to give cats and kittens “freedom rides” from shelters, transport kitties to and from vet appointments, and more. - Fundraising
Are you experienced in fundraising? This is another great need. We have several fundraising events throughout the year, with our biggest fundraiser being our annual Black Cat Bash! - Donation Coordinators
This involves requesting donations from area businesses for events. - Marketing, Publicity, and Advertising
Help spread the word about the wonderful work we do by distributing posters and flyers to area businesses in Wake Forest and Raleigh. - Graphic Designers
Talented in graphic design? Your talent can be used to create digital media for use as posters, flyers, social media, and more. - Website Editor
If you have WordPress experience, help keep our web site up to date with the latest information. - Photography and Video
You would photograph our current foster cats and kittens, take photos at events, and produce videos. - Development
We need individuals who can help us raise funds through capital campaigns, major corporate and business gifts, foundations, individual gifts, grants, and more.

There may or may not be a need in a particular position at any given time (except fosterers, which are ALWAYS needed), but we will work to find a good fit for your time and skills where it will have the greatest impact.
